4-H Youth Development
Business Challenge
4-H, a youth educational program of University of New Hampshire (UNH) Cooperative Extension, was searching for improv and acting professionals to volunteer their time and deliver experiential learning and improv training for their NH 2011 4-H Teen Conference to help youth acquire knowledge, develop life skills, and form attitudes to enable them to become self directing, productive, and contributing members of society.
Value Provided
StageCoach Improv was contacted and provided an Improv Comedy workshop for the NH 2011 4-H Teen Conference where teens were engaged in games and exercises from the world of acting and improv. The experiential learning and improv training culminated in silly laugh out loud scenes where valuable lessons were learned on accepting and building on ideas, overcoming conflict, and enabling teamwork to create stories.
Rob did an amazing job keeping the youth energized and engaged during our Imrov Comedy workshop at the 2011 NH State 4-H Teen Conference. We were very impressed by his ability to maintain professionalism when the youth started going down slightly inappropriate paths and bringing them back into good, clean fun! I will definitely book StageCoach Improv for my next event!
